# Codex Job Format (line-based mini-DSL)
Each job file is plain text with KEY=VALUE pairs and an ACTION line.

Required:
  ACTION=<one of: SCAFFOLD, WRITE, BUILD_SHARDS, HANDSHAKE, SHELL, VERIFY>

Optional common keys:
  NOTE=free form text

Actions:

1) SCAFFOLD
   - Creates a code/project scaffold under OUT_DIR.
   Keys:
     OUT_DIR=<abs or relative path under BODY or BRAIN>
     KIND=<fastapi|bash|html|python_pkg>
     NAME=<project name>
   Example:
     ACTION=SCAFFOLD
     OUT_DIR=$HOME/Desktop/AI_Body/scaffolds/fastapi_demo
     KIND=fastapi
     NAME=demo_api

2) WRITE
   - Writes a file with given content (base64) safely.
   Keys:
     PATH=<absolute path>
     MODE=<644|755> (optional, default 644; if endswith .sh -> 755)
     CONTENT_B64=<base64 payload>
   Example:
     ACTION=WRITE
     PATH=/Volumes/BrainSSD/AI_Brain_Control/docs/hello.md
     CONTENT_B64=IyBIZWxsbyEKVGhpcyBpcyBhIGRvYy4K

3) BUILD_SHARDS
   - Asks the Body builder to build N shards with profile/size.
   Keys:
     PROFILE=<nvme|ssd|hdd>
     TOTAL_SHARDS=<int> (0 means run-forever batch; default 2)
     TARGET_MB=<int> default 256
     COMPRESSOR=<auto|zstd|gzip> default auto
     COMPRESS_LEVEL=<int> default 3
   Example:
     ACTION=BUILD_SHARDS
     PROFILE=ssd
     TOTAL_SHARDS=4
     TARGET_MB=256
     COMPRESS_LEVEL=3

4) HANDSHAKE
   - Refreshes/extends the Brain handshake docs.
   Keys:
     APPEND_TEXT_B64=<base64 text> (optional)
   Example:
     ACTION=HANDSHAKE
     APPEND_TEXT_B64=LS0gQ29kZXggaGFuZHNob3RlIGFkZGVkLgo=

5) SHELL
   - Run a bounded shell command and capture output to OUT/.
   Keys:
     CMD=<shell command>
   Example:
     ACTION=SHELL
     CMD=ls -la "$HOME"

6) VERIFY
   - Runs integrity verifier for shards and writes report to OUT/.
   Example:
     ACTION=VERIFY
