# Author review before submission

This is a finished exploratory secondary-analysis manuscript, not a submitted paper or proof of consciousness.

Confirm the author name and affiliation, approve the final interpretations, and retain original researchers' attribution. The current front matter says “prepared for Joseph Anady” because an AI-generated manuscript cannot stand in for author approval.

The declaration protocol is prospective. Do not describe it as executed, preregistered, or externally approved. Parameter changes, geometric bends, and training steps are not measured declarations. No model responses or behavioral comparisons were newly generated.

An external reviewer should independently run the pinned source acquisition, compare its output with the delivered tables, and assess whether the geometric contribution warrants the selected venue. The release uses layer index 21; the manuscript deliberately does not relabel it as the different layer-24 setup described elsewhere in the source paper.

The paper preserves the motivating consciousness hypothesis but does not claim that observed parameter divergence establishes subjective experience. Any stronger inference requires a separately defensible bridge from observation to experience, not a change in terminology alone.
