29 July 2026, which meant every page load sent the visitor's IP and user agent to Google, on the
critical render path, in a product seeking a federal authorisation and on a public surface where the
visitors are job candidates.
IT WAS ALSO BREAKING GATE C. The only findings the visual sweep produced across four runs came from
this dependency flaking: a failed stylesheet fetch took the render down and reported EMPTY_SCREEN on a
page that is fine. Self hosting was recorded as improvement P3 and then done immediately rather than
deferred, because pixel baselines established while an external host controls the render would be
invalidated the day it was fixed. Fixing it first was the only ordering that made the baselines worth
keeping.
Inter and JetBrains Mono are both SIL Open Font Licence, so redistribution is permitted. Latin and
latin-ext subsets are kept: candidate names carry diacritics and dropping latin-ext would render them
in a fallback face. -->
