# Hypothalamus (maintenance sub-brain)
Purpose:
- Responsible for system/homeostasis tasks for developer tooling.
- Hosts a `devtools/` directory with modular tools; each tool is a folder that exposes a `launch.sh` launcher (background-friendly).
- Example modules: `devtools_healer`, `ssh_manager`, `git_health`, `env_fixers`.
Usage:
- Manager/watchdog will auto-discover and start `hypothalamus/launch.sh`.
- You can start manually:
~/Desktop/AI_Brain/sub_brains/hypothalamus/launch.sh
- Add new modules under `hypothalamus/devtools/<module>` and give them a `launch.sh` that supports `--bg`.
