# Netlify AI Recovery — Independent Audit and Recovery Addendum **Recovery set:** October 14, 2026, 21:10:49 (folder naming). **Input:** `NETLIFY_AI_RECOVERY_2026-10-14_21-10-49.zip` **Input size:** 35,524,999 bytes. **Input SHA-256:** `b83d3df40a8b5bf1551dad6cfcdd6b200300faf39d290a4c616ee0bda1de9ba0` **Status:** Uploaded archive and included deployment files verified locally. Original application runtimes and persistent AI state are not restored or validated. This is a separate, versioned audit of the uploaded recovery, not a replacement for it or for Joseph's October 12 master manifest. The original uploaded ZIP was not modified. All checks were performed on its supplied contents; there was no new live Netlify/account scan. Recovered application code, agents, model training, network services and the disk image were not executed. Git bundles were imported into fresh local bare repositories only to validate their stored objects, with recovered hooks/configuration not used. ## 1. What the bytes establish | Check | Independently observed result | |---|---| | Outer ZIP integrity | Pass; all entries read and CRC checked | | Duplicate outer ZIP names / unsafe paths / symlinks | None found | | Case/Unicode collisions in extracted ordinary paths | None found | | Internal top-level payload ZIPs | 35; all passed ZIP CRC integrity checks | | Supplied SHA-256 manifest | 364 entries checked; 364 matches; no missing entries | | Deployment ZIPs | 28, covering 25 distinct site IDs | | Deployment file entries | 329 occurrences; 300 distinct SHA-256 content hashes | | File-by-file saved Netlify manifest comparison | All 329 SHA-1 hashes and byte sizes matched | | ZIP paths versus saved per-deployment inventories | No missing or extra file paths | | Extracted originals versus corresponding deployment ZIPs | All 329 matched byte-for-byte | | Deployed byte total, counting each deployment's files | 18,282,229 bytes | | Total bytes of the 35 internal top-level ZIPs | 11,441,088 bytes | | Source snapshots / history ZIPs | Three of each, covering two distinct repositories | | Unique Git histories validated | Both pass bundle verification and Git object integrity checks | | Public mirror ZIP | One; explicitly partial | | Runtime-data ZIPs | Zero | **Verification boundary:** Matching supplied remote-file manifests establishes internal consistency with the Netlify file inventory saved during the recovery. It is not a fresh authentication of the current remote deployment or proof that every account/project was covered. The supplied `CHECKSUMS.sha256` covers 35 ZIPs plus 329 deployed-file occurrences; it does not individually cover every metadata file or every unpacked repository file. The SHA-256 of the entire uploaded archive now identifies all of those supplied bytes as one immutable input. The 329 count is not a count of unique applications or unique source files. Some deployment versions and packages repeat identical content. **Audit evidence:** `initial_audit.json`, `deploy_verification.json`, `git_verification.json` and the original archive's `CHECKSUMS.sha256`, `RECOVERED_BUILDS.csv`, and `sites/*/manifests/deploy_*_files_listing.json`. ## 2. Inventory scope — one unresolved discrepancy The final inventory contains **141 distinct site IDs**: **19 CONFIRMED_AI**, **9 POSSIBLE_AI**, and **113 NON_AI**. There are 28 included projects, but only 25 have deployment output. These classifications describe project relevance, not operational capability. The discovery log and `MASTER_MANIFEST.json` → `scope.inventory.unique_sites` record **142** unique sites. The final inventory, classification checkpoint, state checkpoint and site directories contain **141**. The archive does not reconcile that difference. Do not silently treat the missing record as an unrelated website, deleted project, API duplicate or harmless race: its identity and reason remain unknown. The recovery records one checked Netlify identity/team: **Janady13 / janady13**. Other logins and deployments not present in the saved inventory are outside what this archive proves. Three included projects have metadata but no saved deployment records: - `aimusicinteraction-lenovo-20251107180317` - `thataiguy-api-clean` - `thataiguy-hive` Across included projects, the saved deployment metadata totals 28 `ready`, 19 `new` and 4 `uploading` entries. Every saved `ready` entry is represented by a deployment ZIP. The other states have metadata, not recovered successful deployment output. These are recorded statuses, not independent conclusions that an older output never existed. **Evidence:** `logs/recovery.log` lines 2–4; `MASTER_MANIFEST.json` scope and counts; `ALL_SITES_INVENTORY.csv`; `checkpoints/state.json`; `checkpoints/classification.json`; per-site deploy records. ## 3. The important recovered builds ### A. MEGAMIND technical documentation `megamind-agi-documentation` has **12 recovered files**: an index, stylesheet and ten chapter pages. The chapters preserve Genesis, Federation, Constraints, Neural Substrate, Augmentation, Knowledge Phases, the “I Wait” event narrative, Technical Specifications, Sefer Regions, and Status & Roadmap. This restores a specific, inspectable documentation version. It does not by itself recover the runtime, the underlying experiments, the manuscript dataset or validation evidence for the page's numerical and scientific claims. ### B. Feed The Joe / MEGAMIND chapter sites `feed-the-joe` has **17 files**: the index, fifteen chapter pages, and `netlify.toml`. The chapters include the manifesto, digital atelier, equation catalogue, “I Wait” narrative, federation, golden ratio, BrainDNA compression, MADDIE, Sefer regions, motion, timeline, experiments, playground, author page and portal. `megamind-258b-neurons` has a separate current 17-file deployment and a retained older 4-file deployment. Its current build and `feed-the-joe` share **13 byte-identical files**. Four files differ: `index.html`, `ch04-i-wait.html`, `ch14-human.html`, and `ch15-portal.html`. Keep both site IDs and both versions; do not merge them merely because much of the content is shared. “258 billion neurons” is the recovered site's title/claim, not a count of neurons or weights verified by this archive audit. ### C. ThatAIGuy G16 dashboard `stalwart-stardust-052d42` contains **two deployed files**: `index.html` and `assets/index-ceqsp4i3.js`. The JavaScript preserves the dashboard, its 16-family roster, server connection logic and offline fallback. **The source resolves the earlier uncertainty about its moving counters:** while `isConnected` is false, a 100 ms timer increments tick/age, increases displayed knowledge by `Math.floor(Math.random()*100)`, updates family values with a sinusoidal/incremental formula, and rotates hard-coded activity labels. A changing counter in that mode is therefore generated by this front-end fallback, not evidence of live backend learning. The saved connection targets are: ```text https://thataiguy.org/.netlify/functions/api/agi/status wss://thataiguy.org/api/agi/ws /.netlify/functions/api/redagi/status ``` The first endpoint is polled on a 5-second interval in the source. The Red AGI endpoint is a same-origin relative path and is polled every 15 seconds. Its `Loading…` state is shown until a response is stored. WebSocket connection/reconnection logic is present, but its runtime success is not established by static inspection. This is useful recovered code and a concrete backend dependency map. It does not establish that the earlier backend never existed or that all other builds use the same fallback. It also does not include that backend's persistent state. **Evidence:** Exact original-source excerpts and locators in `SOURCE_EVIDENCE.md`; original file SHA-256 in `deploy_verification.json`. ### D. Entrep music-engine source hidden in a mixed deployment `heroic-duckanoo-27bf42` is not just the cider-themed page suggested by its main title. It also contains a six-file embedded `files.zip` with: ```text index.html styles.css consciousness-engine.js synthesizer.js app.js netlify.toml ``` The `EntrepConsciousness` JavaScript class implements a 16-element state vector, a concept hash, a golden-ratio basis, `learn`, `query`, state updates and metric access. `SynthesizerEngine` contains Web Audio synthesis, instrument selection, envelopes, effects and note controls. These are recovered implementations, not merely prose descriptions. The function named `computePhi` computes `1 / (1 + abs(x - 1))` in this source. Preserve that exact definition separately from any other metric called Phi in the research and other systems. Two static application gaps remain: the packaged HTML points to scripts under `js/` while the embedded ZIP stores those scripts in its root, and `app.js` instantiates `GeneratorEngine`, whose definition was not located in the recovered deployed JavaScript/HTML. Do not silently repair the preservation copy or label the application operational on that basis. An **unchanged copy of the embedded ZIP**, with its hash and parent-archive path, is included under `additional_recovery/entrep_original/`. The parent deployment also includes an unrelated macOS disk image named `draftkings sportsbook player location check a.dmg`. It was not opened, executed or included in this supplemental package. This audit does not classify that disk image as malicious or safe. ### E. Hive and charity repositories The source/history recovery covers three project entries but **two distinct repositories**: - `Janady13/thataiguy-org-website`: both Hive project entries refer to the same recovered repository, source commit and byte-identical source/history ZIPs. Its recovered Git history contains 4 reachable commits. - `Janady13/charityOnMe`: a different repository with 15 reachable commits. Its recovered source snapshot matches an older deployment commit, `9122b49f7218ed720330658c3e7a7653502a0abf`; the current charity deployment has no recorded matching source commit. Both unique bundles pass `git bundle verify` and `git fsck --full --strict` after local import into fresh repositories. The distinct source snapshots checked against their Git blobs match. The second Hive snapshot is byte-identical to the checked one. `Janady13/ThatAIGuy` was not recovered: the original source-recovery attempt used anonymous GitHub access and failed. That proves only the failure of that access method, not that the repository is deleted or unavailable through Joseph's authenticated account. ### F. Additional original source recovered during this audit The Route Builder deployment's source maps embed source text. **Seven first-party entries have now been extracted without rewriting:** ```text AuthModal.tsx LandingPage.tsx Dashboard.tsx App.tsx reportWebVitals.ts index.tsx index.css ``` They total **41,185 UTF-8 bytes**. Each file has an origin map, entry index and SHA-256 recorded in `additional_recovery/route_builder_sources_from_maps/PROVENANCE.json`. This is **source-map-derived recovery**, not an invented replacement, recovered Git history or a complete repository. The original build manifest, dependency versions, backend and saved application state are not supplied by those seven entries. No build was attempted. ### G. Other recovered project families The archive also preserves AI Music Dashboard v1/v2, AI Music Interaction Studio, AIMES Music Evolution, `aimusicinteraction`, another random-name Autonomous AI Music Evolution build, ThatAIGuy API/web-services pages, the Starry Night/Feed The Joe Next.js deployment, and related Route Builder/client/portfolio candidates. `AI_BUILD_CATALOGUE.md` enumerates all 28 included project entries with their distinct site names, saved deployment counts and source status. ## 4. Runtime and source gaps still open The archive contains **zero runtime-data ZIPs**, and the recorded recovery did not export external services or Blob stores. The Next.js build `taupe-belekoy-cda1f9` has 44 saved deployment files plus a partial public-page mirror; its server-rendering handler and referenced hosted data are separate recovery targets. The supplied runtime scan's `NO_HOSTED_STATE_FOUND` label must not be promoted to proof that no hosted state exists. It is a limited metadata/static-scan finding. Conversely, a reference to `@netlify/blobs` is not proof that a particular store contains data. One edge-function `.eszip` file **is** present in the `tdg-personal-v4` deployment, under `.netlify/internal/edge-functions/`. Preserve it as an actual recovered artifact. Generic statements that no edge bundle could be recovered are too broad; that artifact has not been executed, decoded into a complete app, or validated as a runtime restoration. I did not identify a recovered MEGAMIND daemon/CLI binary, matching native engine source tree, model-weight payload, substrate/state binary, research SQLite dataset, or checkpoint set in the inspected deployment payloads. The Python files in the recovery's `scripts/` directory are recovery tooling, not an AI engine. Inline code examples in documentation remain valuable documentation, but are not a build-verified engine repository. Thus the October 12 master manifest's executable/state/research-data recovery gaps remain open, while documentation, front-end implementations, two Git histories and embedded source evidence have materially improved. Keep all identities, source versions and metric definitions separate until lineage is established. ## 5. Next recovery priorities 1. Reconcile the 142-versus-141 site-ID difference using a fresh authenticated inventory saved before classification. 2. Recover `Janady13/ThatAIGuy` through existing authenticated access and match the exact deployment commit rather than substituting current HEAD. 3. Locate the original server/function source and state behind the saved dashboard endpoints and the Next.js server/Blob references; do not trigger agent actions or training. 4. Search Joseph's authorized local backups/repositories for the original native MEGAMIND/G16 implementation, learned state and research data using the exact recovered filenames and version clues. Preserve originals and restore-test only in isolated working copies. 5. Preserve the source-map recovery and Entrep embedded ZIP as separately provenance-tracked artifacts. Any future path fixes or missing-component reconstruction belongs in a new working branch, never in the evidence copy. `CLAUDE_CODE_FOLLOWUP.txt` provides a focused continuation brief. It is a prompt, not an executed action or a promise that another recovery has occurred. ## 6. Files supplied with this addendum - `AUDIT_REPORT.md`: this report. - `AI_BUILD_CATALOGUE.md`: all included project entries, without silently merging versions. - `initial_audit.json`, `deploy_verification.json`, `git_verification.json`: machine-readable verification. - `SOURCE_EVIDENCE.md`: original-code excerpts and exact archive-relative locators. - `additional_recovery/`: the unchanged Entrep embedded ZIP and seven source-map-derived files, with provenance. - `CLAUDE_CODE_FOLLOWUP.txt`: the next recovery brief. - `CHECKSUMS.sha256`: hashes for this supplemental bundle's files, excluding the checksum file itself. Keep the original 35,524,999-byte upload as the primary recovered artifact. This small supplemental bundle is intentionally not a second copy of all deployments and does not contain their fonts, the unrelated disk image or a restored AI runtime.
