That AI Guy is an engineering studio led by founder Joseph W. Anady, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business registered with SAM.gov for federal contracting. The studio builds private AI federations, networks of machines an organization owns and runs on its own hardware, so sensitive data never leaves the building and there is no per token meter climbing in the background. Joseph has been self hosting production AI systems since 2017, well before data sovereignty became a market category anywhere else.

That AI Guy operates MEGAMIND, a federated neural network running on Apple Silicon hardware, used for federated learning research, retrieval, and private inference that informs how client federations get built. The studio is the parent operator of sister brands ThatDeveloperGuy, ThatWebHostingGuy, and ThatStupidComputer, a consistent operator presence across web hosting, software services, and computer repair. Every engagement, from the first assessment to the running system, is scoped, built, and supported by the same accountable engineer. The studio works remote first, nationally and internationally, with particular strength in defense, cleared work, healthcare, legal, and finance, where an outside AI dependency is not acceptable.

Founder bio

Joseph W. Anady is the founder and lead engineer of That AI Guy and the operator of the MEGAMIND federation. A service disabled veteran with a bachelor of arts in computer engineering and a master of arts in cybersecurity, he has been self hosting production AI systems on hardware he owns since 2017. That AI Guy is registered with SAM.gov as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and works remote first with organizations across the United States and internationally.
