Tier 12: International.
hreflang, multilingual SEO, international schema, country and language targeting. The tier for businesses that operate across multiple countries or languages.
What ships in this tier.
- hreflang on every translated page with self referential plus x-default
- Multilingual content structure: subfolder, subdomain, or ccTLD
- Country and language targeting in Search Console
- International schema: areaServed, knowsLanguage, currency
- Language switcher with persistent preference
International SEO is its own discipline.
Most multilingual sites get hreflang wrong. The cost is duplicate content treatment, wrong language served to wrong country, and rankings split across language variants. Tier 12 deploys hreflang correctly and tunes country targeting in Search Console.
Requires Tier 1 Foundation.
Tier 12 fits businesses that operate across multiple countries or serve multiple language audiences. US only domestic businesses do not need Tier 12.
Tier 12 FAQ.
Subfolder, subdomain, or ccTLD?
Subfolder is usually best for SEO inheritance. Subdomain is acceptable. ccTLD is the strongest country signal but the weakest SEO inheritance. We choose at intake.
Do you do translation?
No. We integrate with translation services (DeepL, Smartling, professional translators) but we do not perform translation work.
What about right to left languages like Arabic or Hebrew?
Yes. We support RTL with proper CSS direction handling and RTL aware design.
