Engine optimization / Tier 7
Social and brand
Open Graph and Twitter Card meta across every page, video schema for embedded video, and social preview control. This is the tier that decides how your content looks the instant someone shares it.
What ships
What is in Social and brand
- Open Graph meta on every page, with a verified preview
- Twitter Card meta, set to summary_large_image
- Video schema for embedded video content
- Engagement calls to action: share, save, copy link
- A social meta image strategy, per page or per category
- fb:pages and Facebook page plugin integration where it applies
Why social previews are not cosmetic
When your content gets shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, or dropped into a text message, the social preview is the first thing the recipient sees, before they ever load the page. A default preview is usually wrong: the wrong image, a truncated description, a generic title pulled from boilerplate. Tier 7 sets the preview on purpose, on every page, instead of leaving it to chance.
Video schema is the underused half of this tier. Emitted correctly, it lets Google understand the video on your site well enough to surface it in Search and in Discover, which is reach you do not get from a plain embed.
Inside a federation, brand consistency across every surface is part of the trust signal a model reads when it decides whether to cite you. A page that looks right everywhere it appears, on a social feed, in a search result, and inside an AI answer, is easier for both people and AI engines to take seriously.
Engagement calls to action work the same way. A visitor who can share, save, or copy a link without hunting for the option is a visitor more likely to actually do it, and every share is a small, free signal back to the engines that a page is worth surfacing again.

- A social meta image library, ready for reuse
Prerequisites
Tier 7 requires Tier 1 Foundation already in place, since the schema and meta discipline it builds on comes from that baseline. Without Foundation, there is no structured data graph underneath the page for the social and video markup to extend, so the two tiers are built to run in that order.
Past Foundation, Tier 7 layers cleanly on top of any other tier and does not block or get blocked by the tiers around it. It carries the most weight for content businesses, publishers, creators, and ecommerce sites, and for any business with an active social presence worth protecting.
FAQ
Tier 7 questions
Do you generate the social meta images?
For one off pages we use a default template. For larger builds we ship a per category template strategy, so each content type gets a preview image that matches it.
What about video?
If your site has video, we add video schema and validate it in Search Console. If it does not, Tier 7 covers the Open Graph, Twitter Card, and image work only.
What about Facebook Pixel?
Pixel is optional and depends on your advertising posture. Pixel setup is handled under Tier 8 Analytics and conversion, alongside GA4 and GTM.
